Welcome to the Fairborn Area Chamber of Commerce and the great City of Fairborn!

Fairborn is a community with a great history and a diverse background and population. Located in the Miami Valley, Fairborn is home to Wright State University and a neighbor of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, one of the largest military bases in the United States. Wright-Patt, as it is known locally, is also the largest single site employer in the State of Ohio with many base personnel living in Fairborn.

Fairborn is a great location for businesses. Interstate 675 has four exits for Fairborn with Interstate 70 close by.

Fairborn itself has something very few communities can boast about with a distinct downtown area that has many individual and unique businesses and restaurants. Several other business areas in Fairborn offer additional shopping, entertainment and eating establishments to include the Five Points Area, the Broad Street Corridor, and the Colonel Glenn Highway area across from Wright State University.

Wright State University is a large, world-class educational facility offering undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees in a wide variety of areas. The Nutter Center at Wright State University is one of the main venues in the entire Southeast area of Ohio for world class entertainment including concerts, athletic events, trade shows, and a wide variety of community focused events.

In addition to Wright State University, Fairborn can boast that in the next few years Fairborn Schools will have all new school buildings to include Elementary, Intermediate, Middle and High Schools. The new buildings will certainly complement the already top quality faculty and staff to provide the best in educational services to our students.

The City of Fairborn offers many amenities including 21 parks, a splash pad, wetland reserves and one of the best Frisbee Golf Courses in Ohio. Numerous entertainment events are sponsored by the City of Fairborn, the Fairborn Senior Center, the Fairborn Area Chamber of Commerce and other organizations throughout the year.
