A Letter from our Executive Director
I am the new Executive Director of the Fairborn Area Chamber of Commerce.
This is a great opportunity to be serving in the capacity of working with businesses to help them grow and save dollars on their operations.
I was raised in Greenhills, Ohio and from an early age I followed my dream of being in radio broadcasting. My journey took me to being on the air in Middletown, Findlay, Hamilton, Springfield and Dayton, Ohio. I built my business background serving as the General Manager of several stations.
My broadcast highlights included Play by Play of several high school state championship games. A huge moment in broadcasting was the 1980 Election Coverage on WFIN Radio in Findlay. I produced the special broadcast, and the station won the AP Award for outstanding special event coverage.
In 2008 I switched careers and started my tenure running the Fairfield Chamber. I was in that position for over 14 years.
My role before I came to the Fairborn Area Chamber was hosting public TV programs on Waycross Community Media.
My wife Tammy and I are proud parents of two sons Matthew and Andy. We have one grandchild so far.
I have been part of various Rotary Clubs, advisor to Miami University Hamilton, Fairfield City school and Butler Tech. While at the Fairfield Chamber I served on several committees with the City of Fairfield, YMCA and several others. I also served as emcee of over 200 meetings and special events.
My other committees include working with nonprofits on several projects and the business community in Springfield Township.
You can be part of the Fairborn Area Chamber serving on our various committees and events.
We are your Chamber and welcome you to Contact Us so we can see how we can best serve you.
Respectfully,
Kert Radel
